Our History

Founded in 1973 as the Family Planning Center of Ocean County, LivWell Healthcare is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with nearly five decades of experience supporting sexual and reproductive health. What started as a local effort to make family planning accessible has grown into LivWell—a name and mission dedicated to caring for every individual, at every stage of life.

Today, LivWell offers confidential, inclusive, and judgment-free care through in-office visits, telehealth services, and our mobile clinic. From screenings and exams to education, treatment, and ongoing support, we make quality reproductive healthcare approachable, empowering, and easy to access for everyone.
